Tata Motors' total expenses rose about 17 per cent to Rs 69,890 crore in April-JuneTata Motors reported on Tuesday a loss for the three months through June, hurt by higher raw material costs.The automaker said it made a net loss of Rs 1,902 crore ($277 million), compared with a profit of Rs 3,182 crore in the same quarter a year ago.Changes to the way JLR's pension payments are calculated had resulted in a one-time gain of Rs 3,609 crore last year.Total expenses during April-June rose about 17 per cent to Rs 69,890 crore.Shares in Tata Motors closed1.46 per cent lower at Rs263.60 apiece on the NSE, ahead of the release of quarterly earnings.($1 = Rs 68.5825) Thomson Reuters 2018
